Alice K. Boatwright

Alice K. Boatwright’s mysteries focus on Ellie Kent, who moves to an English village with her new husband Graham and fears the villagers will always see her as that young American who snared their attractive vicar during his sabbatical in California. But this challenge is nothing compared to what happens when she stumbles across a body in the churchyard. . .

The first Ellie Kent mystery, Under an English Heaven, won the 2016 Mystery and Mayhem Grand Prize for best mystery. What Child Is This? was published in 2017. Audio editions of both books were released by Audible in 2018.

Boatwright is also the author of Collateral Damage, three novellas about the long-term impact of the Vietnam War, which won the 2013 Bronze Award for Literary Fiction from the Independent Publisher Book Awards.  She formerly lived in the UK and Paris and now makes her home in the Pacific Northwest, where she currently serves as President of the Puget Sound Chapter of Sisters in Crime.
